This is the website for the band My emu, located in Neath, South Wales. The band
is currently hard at work on their 1st demo which is untitled at the moment. The band also hopes to start gigging soon as
they have written 4 complete songs.
The band is influenced by bands such as Blink 182, The Used, Funeral For A Friend,
Underoath, Eighteen Visions, The Spill Canvas, My Chemical Romance, Atreyu, Fightstar, Fall Out Boy, Hidden In Plain View,
Bullet For My Valentine, The Starting Line, Thursday, Thrice, Yellowcard and even Metallica.
The members feel that they cannot place themselves in a particular genre but if
they had to pick they would say they are a mix between postcore/screamo/soft rock. They specialise in making heavy, fast
and aggresive songs but also make slow acoustic songs.
The website has had a few updates. There are new photos in the picture section
and we also have brand new forum and as you can see the site looks a little bit different, yellow was such a gay colour. Peace.
